But I will also make an effort to make sure I’m offering options for healthy meals that are cheap and affordable. I can’t promise it’ll be regular but I’ll do my best! Anyways, I just wanted to check in and say that I haven’t forgotten about this blog! Tuna Hash… Minus the Tuna. Carrot and Coriander Soup →. Hockey Writi...

Books, Mags & Apps. August 1, 2014. August 1, 2014. For the re-launch of my blog I chose a very easy, light, quick but tasty recipe. I choose rice and mange tout as sides, but a nice green salad or steamed vegetables are also great options. If you are following Weigh Watchers “Filling and Healthy” you only need to count 2 ProPoints per portion if you choose just vegetables or potatoes instead. 1 tbsp. vegetable oil. 2 tbsp. water. 50 g fresh root ginger. 2 tbsp. honey. 2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar.

Saturday, January 22, 2011. Great weekday or weekend meal. My tip on pork is DON'T OVERCOOK it. I find the best way to prevent this is to use a food thermometer. The one I am using cost around $6 so not a big investment. Overcooked pork gets tough and dry- never a good combo unless you are eating jerky :).
