Nina's Cupcakes: Creme Brulee
http://ninascupcakes.blogspot.com/2009/07/creme-brulee.html
Friday, July 31, 2009. So I ended up with lots of extra egg yolks from making milan cookies so I needed a recipe to use it. I had found a creme brulee. Recipe during my searching for recipes with egg yolks. It's super yummy and I think it tastes really good after a light meal and you just want something yummy to eat. The whole caramelization thing was really hard for me since I have no torch. I've been using broil and it doesnt do the top evenly. Oh well, it was fun and yummy regardless!

Nina's Cupcakes: December 2011
http://ninascupcakes.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 23, 2011. He asked me to help him out. Since I was going to be stressed out about taking the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) test, I knew that baking was a great stress reliever. I bring them to work and I have a big group of people to eat them without having to force Scott to bring them to work or eat them himself. It's a great deal! Adapted from Joy of Baking. 1 3/8 cup of all purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon of salt. 1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder. 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (1 stick).

Sunday, October 30, 2011. I have no idea who still follows my blog, but I have been slacking in the baking department since I met my boyfriend. Anyways, we had been together for a year so we decided to go to my hometown and Disneyland! Some of the pictures I took (with my cellphone camera). All of these things were delicious! Friday, July 1, 2011. NY Style Crumb Cake [Club Baked]. So I know that this is a bit late, but I've been busy moving, travelling and having too much fun! This cake itself was pretty easy to make and super delicious! I really enjoyed putting these together. I gave one to my friend who came by and visited me in San Francisco, kept one for myself, and gave the rest to my boyfriend who was meeting his grandparents in Vegas. Apparently it's their anniversary! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Nina's Cupcakes: [BLUE] Raspberry Buttermilk Cupcakes
http://ninascupcakes.blogspot.com/2009/09/blue-raspberry-buttermilk-cupcakes.html
Wednesday, September 30, 2009. BLUE] Raspberry Buttermilk Cupcakes. Tuesday was our first meeting, and we were supposed to wear our family colors - blue. EASY! I wanted to bring something extra along with me in the form of cupcakes. I had looked at my recipes, and quite a few of them were blue - as in blueberries, but going to the grocery store, the raspberries were only 99 cents but blueberries were 4.99. Guess which one I bought. Dont these look like alien creatures wanting food? Nina, I love these!

I look and searched and found that we were making these Nutella Scones for Club: Baked so I figured that it would be a perfect match. Nutella is a favorite among my friends and I. I let the boyfriend bring them to work and I think they enjoyed it. For choosing this one and see how the other baker fared at Club Baked. View my complete profile.

Nina's Cupcakes: Twix Brownies
http://ninascupcakes.blogspot.com/2009/04/twix-brownies.html
Friday, April 17, 2009. Normally I'm pretty good about predicting my time needed to bake and make the stuff I need to do. This time, I was a little off. Actually, a lot off. If I had like half an hour more, it would have been okay. I feel like because I had to do my essay, I started later. Starting later = melting frosting and no time for Dmitriy to take pictures. =(. So these brownies my friend Matt was asking for - since like ages ago. They were basically made the same way as these. NEED I SAY MORE?
