Occasional ramblings of a guy who likes to get out there. Tuesday, March 27, 2007. Mt Wilson Trail Race. This is a reworking an old blog posting. On May 27, 2006, I completed the Mt. Wilson Trail Race. Held on Saturday, May 27, in 1:33:58—a full 31 minutes and 2 seconds after the first-place finisher. I made it up the 4.3 miles of twisting trail to the old Orchard Camp. With a split time of 58:37. I got a big mental boost upon reaching the turnaround point. That, along with a shot of GU.
