Happenings, ideas and other fun stuff from our home school assistance program. Monday, May 5, 2014. For When Things Dont Go Like You Planned. It was a chilly March day. March 6 to be exact. Seventeen excited home school students started on an adventure in creativity. To be more precise, an adventure in original stop motion animation. We watched short clips of Wallace and Gromit. We needed a train to zip through the story, so a group of 5-8 year olds designed a funky train out of clay. Looking good. Abe a...

An Inch of Time. The journey of a regular housewife during 2011. Friday, April 1, 2011. A last ditch effort. So My Better Half (MBH) and I left our beloved little town of 300 (and our even more beloved town of 7000) and moved to the "big city." And I'm beginning to think that I should get myself a bumper sticker: "Please forgive my good manners - I'm from a small town." Who knew you weren't supposed to look people in the eye! They have multiples here! Or plows the roads.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
