Students in the Atlantic Home School Assistance Program has been working together on a service learning project during our latest session of enrichment classes. So what exactly does that mean? During week one, Tina and I lead the students through an exercise called Blue Sky,. Which culminated in the students recording their dreams for our world on a cloud. They also designed a cat house to donate.

Thursday, November 17, 2011. This is a one year old birthday card that I made for a co-worker. I used Cricut lite cart Yee-Haw. I uses some colored hemp cord around the lasso to make it look real, and silver brads on the tips of the star and the spur on the boot.The background paper is from my scrap pile. I slipped into a local discount store early this morning before coming to work (7:30 am is the best time to frequent that type of establishment) and was greeted by an enormous twinkling evergreen in the entry way. The store displays have completely shifted to red and green. The message is clear. Buy stuff. How will I manage creating a perfect, Pinterest quality Christmas experience for my family!

Monday, 13 November 2017. Memo, Mail and Me: It's Monday November 13th. I have been meaning to post more regularly on my blog for a while, and what better motivator than joining in with Memo, Mail and Me on Patio Postcards. In the mail I received these cute vintage children's patterns. I am intending to frame some of them and sell them on my Etsy shop. I have been procrastinating on this and am therefore sadly a bit late for this Christmas! We met at high school, so have known each other over 40 years!
