Lonely Island: storage
http://alternativeformosa.blogspot.com/2015/01/storage.html
Words and sounds from the deep(er) parts of my life. I emptied it all. Three years, almost, I kept all those boxes in storage, afraid, reluctant, to touch or see the things inside the boxes. How much and what can a box hold? Moments of a time gone by? And there are many, many more items, pictures, items of clothing that could tell many more stories. Who would know these stories? Who would care to listen to me reminisce? What significance do they hold? I sometimes can, now, hardly know their significance&...

Lonely Island: Sudden flashback
http://alternativeformosa.blogspot.com/2015/04/sudden-flashback.html
Words and sounds from the deep(er) parts of my life. Studying just now, and I had a sudden flashback of a day way back when I was probably around 8 or so. We had just moved to the Netherlands, dad worked at the WTC and commuted daily to work. That afternoon, they decided to buy a bike, our first bike in the Netherlands, and mum said she would ride it home. I was concerned, as it seemed very far to ride all the way home. At the time we lived in Uithoorn. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). At all the happ...

Lonely Island: It was so real....
http://alternativeformosa.blogspot.com/2015/04/it-was-so-real.html
Words and sounds from the deep(er) parts of my life. It was so real. I saw mum, she was so alive. We were chatting and reminiscing our trip to the Canadian Rockies. How beautiful it was, how sublime, how grand the tours and stays at such lovely hotels! She told me about her latest diagnosis, it isn't good. She probably needs to do treatment again. Lets go travel again, mum! I was hurting and breaking down inside, but I felt I needed to be strong again, for her sake. She smiled at me. I woke up crying.

Lonely Island: long lost mother
http://alternativeformosa.blogspot.com/2015/04/long-lost-mother.html
Words and sounds from the deep(er) parts of my life. Underneath all this normalcy,. All the smiles and seemingly hard exterior. Are the memories, longings and deep sense of loss. That still lingers and flows,. That occasionally surfaces through dreams like I just had,. That occasionally rears through images of sobbing, of a boy lying in bed and reaching out his hands to touch the imaginary face of his long lost mother. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In loving memory of my dear, brave mother. Love is...
