Why am i here? Monday, April 23, 2007. In case i die. I offer you this. it has been posted on pitchfork. For your streaming pleasure, but this one's for keeps. heart it races. The newest from australian sextet architecture. Is due out next month, and it precedes their third album places like this. As for the song itself, it seems a little bit like do the whirlwind pt II, with similar chord changes, but as an opening single i imagine it's only a teaser for the delectable eccentricty that no doubt awaits.

Uestlove in the temple bar music centre. some of his track selection was a little bit obvious (but hey, doesn't that always mean that it was great music that everyone knows? But the mixing was sublime. at least i thought so at the time. opening with i got a woman. He delayed the intro with some heavy scratching - my friend cried "he's f*cking it up! Why am i here? Monday, January 29, 2007. Last Wednesday i went to see erol alkan for the second time, in the ucd student bar. i arrived minutes before his set started, the queue was monstrously big. thankfully, as a writer for my university's newspaper, i didn't have to pay in, but it would have been worth it either way.
