I compiled a spreadsheet of all the Jet Rangers in the U.K. and compared the ages and hours flown and G-EWAW was in the top 20% on a number of different counts so it sort of felt right. 124; Comments RSS. G-LADZ was my first foray into helicopter ownership. LADZ is an Enstrom 480 turbine helicopter and is actually the first one ever built. She’s a magnificent bit of kit. I bought a 20% share in her as part of a group consisting of 4 other members. Two of those Steve and Mike, I fly with regularly and we’ve become great mates. 124; Comments RSS. Posted on December 20, 2009. Well G-EWAW is getting a good rest and a thorough maintenance check. PDG. Have had my machine since last Monday and are performing a 100hr and 300hr check on her. The compressor was also due an inspection so that will get done too. I also had a short list of items that required attention which I hope they will get the chance to do, if the weather has anything to do with it, then I suspect they will have it into early January!
