Pug Cafe: November 2009
http://pugcafe.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 27, 2009. I changed the recipe a bit, as we had some corn from our box which I thought would be good addition sprinkled on the top along with some basil. But the parmesan crust base was what made the whole recipe. It had such a great texture with the wheat flour and the perfect cheesey flavor. I can't wait for next summer! Heirloom Tomato Tart in a Parmesan Crust*. 6 perfect, colorful, medium-sized heirloom tomatoes - washed and sliced 1/6-inch thick. 1 t fine-grain sea salt. 1/3 cup veg...

My Day | Madhyatmika
https://madhyatmika.wordpress.com/2011/09/06/myday
Stepping stones travelling the middle way. Haven’t posted since getting back from Ohio. Had several weeks of recuperating, a day or two of decent health. Murphy went to camp, which I’m going to write about in a more pleasant post, but this, unfortunately for you, Kind Reader, is not going to be a pleasant post. This post is about My Day Today. So, here’s my day. TWO bars of Karma shampoo bars. I leave it to you to visualize the dancing of the happy dance naked in the bathroom, or not, as you prefer.

Stepping stones travelling the middle way. The last month has been – strange. Very good at times, not so good at others. Let’s see if I can recap. In other than health related news, I’ve been busy. I’m trying to get out more, get over my people phobia and make some friends. Through Ojai Barter Bin (another FB page; Ojai has lots! The Ojai Wall, a Facebook page for the business, and word of mouth through FB friends. Ambitious, but it feels good. So, here’s my day. That’s where the trouble begins....

The sweet little life of Ruby, Sylvie, Lauren, and Brian. May 17, 2009. The title says it all! I’ve made it to the half way point! Besides the exhaustion factor of being pregnant and raising a high maintenance two-year old, I am loving this time in my life! It is so fun to watch my belly grow bigger and bigger and to feel our little girl moving around all the time. Our midwives’ appts have been wonderful, and things are looking great. It has been nice to have such uneventful visits! May 17, 2009. Blog at...

Rasa Rx: Slow Down
http://rasarx.blogspot.com/2009/05/slow-down.html
Tasty Food is Good Medicine! Tuesday, May 19, 2009. I was inspired to resurrect my sourdough starter and bake a loaf of naturally fermented (without the use of commercial yeast) bread after attending the "The Future of Food: Transatlantic Perspectives". Rather than allow yourself to be paralyzed by fear of cataclysmic climate change, irreversible pollution and economic insecurity; Kumar suggests that we permit love and the joy of cooking to prevail. And Passover-friendly banana quinoa muffins. Since I am...

Tuesday, 27 March 2007. Gujarati Series: Infused Khatta-Meetha Khaman Dhokla. Infused Khaman Dhoklas.I call them that because these spongy khamans have been infused with a sugar-lime juice solution to give it that authentic street taste.all the credit goes to my Mil for teaching me this trick. I had been making this the regular way, by adding tadka on top.but by letting the sugar-lime solution soak in the khaman, it takes on a whole new flavor.one that you're sure to enjoy. 1 cup - Besan Flour. Once the ...

Campus Codger: August 2008
http://campuscodger.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Please Help my Friend. I know I've not posted for a long time, but I thought it would be worth coming out of accidental hiatus to post this. It turns out that Dan Smith, a long time friend of mine, is fighting cancer for the second time. He went in a year ago with thyroid cancer, which they thought they had treated successfully, but it's come back in a form no one expected. You can find Dan's story here:.
