Fraser Knott's Broadcast Project Reflective Journal. Group Broadcast: Part 2 – Studio Run Through & Changes. With a rough completed script, role allocated and news broadcast planned we then went into the studio itself to practice and run through to see how we could improve, and of course to make sure we were ready for the final day. Here is a picture of us in the studio on day one:. Left to right) Fiona our sound engineer, myself, and Jack our director. A view of the VT operator control and preview screen.

Fraser Knott's Broadcast Project Reflective Journal. Group Broadcast: Part 1 – Role Allocation & Planning. During the first group meeting, we each allocated each other roles out of director, producer, presenters, camera crew, floor manager, sound technician, auto-cue technician, video technician and VT operator. I was given the very vital role of VT operator. May 19, 2012. Laquo; Previous Post. Next Post ». Group Broadcast: Part 4 – Overall Reflection. Group Broadcast: Part 3 – Live Broadcast. Build a we...

Fraser Knott's Broadcast Project Reflective Journal. Individual News Item: Part 4 – Filming. In regards to the filming itself however, I feel I got some great shots, all with clear and easy to hear audio. I would have prefer less background noise in the intro I used but I wanted to give the impression of a busy and hectic town which would have been hard somewhere more secluded with less background noise. Fraser Knott's Broadcast Project Reflective Journal. Group Broadcast: Part 3 – Live Broadcast. Today was the final day of our broadcast project module, and was the day our final live broadcast went out. Disappointingly our second run through didn’t go as planned as we had trouble with the sound, and, during a moment of lost concentration, I accidentally cut mid-video back to the studio with the audio from the video still playing, as you can see from the recorded run through:. The Fraser King Creative blog
Tuesday, 20 August 2013. A couple recent of projects we've worked on have been interesting in the sense of "why have we been asked to help? It actually seems that a lot of organisations commission work they could do themselves to remain comfortable in understanding the process, often remaining completely oblivious to whether the process has achieved it's objectives. Does it matter if Andy Murray understands the science of how a tennis racquet is made? Just an observation to help people invest in outsourc...

Fraser Knott's Broadcast Project Reflective Journal. May 19, 2012. Group Broadcast: Part 4 – Overall Reflection. These things aside, I feel we really gelled together as a group, and I feel our project really represents that, and I know, if we were approached with a similar task in a real professional studio environment, we could create something equally as good, if not better, again. But with less than a week remaining before the first pitch of the 2018 MLB season, San Francisco Giants fans were given a rude awakening with some not so fortunate news regarding not one, but two of their starting pitchers.
