Welcome to 2015
http://fraserlab.com/2015/01/02/Welcome-2015
Fraser Lab @ UCSF. In keeping with the traditions of Genentech Hall, we removed our old lab photos on the second floor and added some new ones to the display on the fourth floor. We went with a new theme surrounding Jennifer Li’s excellent cartoon of the lab. If you can’t tell what we are going for, you should stop by for a closer look! We are welcoming Erin Poss (CCB) and Evan Green (iPQB/Biophysics) to the lab for the winter quarter. Apparently, even after PUBS. Comments powered by Disqus.

Fraser Lab @ UCSF. Spring quarter has sprung. A belated welcome to our new rotation student Eugene! And farewell to Erin and Evan who have moved on to their final rotations in the Gestwicki and Frost labs, respectively. We are apparently on a roll of rotation students with first names that start with the letter E. Comments powered by Disqus. Tweets by @fraser lab. This website is open-source and available on Github.
News from the Fraser Lab
http://fraserlab.com/news
Fraser Lab @ UCSF. News from the Fraser Lab. On being quoted in the NYT, Preprints, and Beer (and Tacos). Meeting, I talked. About the importance of building a lab culture as a junior faculty member. Two of the most important things about the culture we are trying to build in the Fraser lab are: 1) we have high scientific standards and 2) we enjoy communicating our results. Preprints help us with both. We set a high standard by showing the world our results when. Grumps like Griffin don’t understand the ...

Fraser Knott's Broadcast Project Reflective Journal. May 19, 2012. Group Broadcast: Part 4 – Overall Reflection. These things aside, I feel we really gelled together as a group, and I feel our project really represents that, and I know, if we were approached with a similar task in a real professional studio environment, we could create something equally as good, if not better, again. The House that Fraser Built. Friday, March 23, 2018. Giants lose MadBum, Shark to Injuries. With Baseball season on the horizon, you can almost smell the scent of freshly cut grass and the mouthwatering aroma of garlic fries in the air. But with less than a week remaining before the first pitch of the 2018 MLB season, San Francisco Giants fans were given a rude awakening with some not so fortunate news regarding not one, but two of their starting pitchers. We know a huge amount about the components of biological systems from complete genome sequences to the complete sets of proteins they encode. Despite this vast quantity of data, we are still unable to answer some basic questions in human genetics. To learn how to address these questions.
