http://kens2wheeltravel.blogspot.com/2011/10/no-monsters-here.html

Kens 2 wheel travel. Cycling from Lands End to John O'groats. Friday, 7 October 2011. This morningarrived with sunshine illuminating the mountains opposite Fort William. I took the Caledonian Canal tow path to start todays journey, which proved to be quiet and easy pedaling. A detour onto a forest track poved more ardous and resulted in the chain jumping off, the repair caused a minor injury. I eventually returned to rhe A82 road that seems topetrify the locals! Kens 2 wheel travel. Cycling from Lands End to John O'groats. Monday, 3 October 2011. Out of Carlisle onto some rural road and then a good road that ran beside the M6, unfortunately the wind increased which started to cause some interest. Cycling round to Gretna I was pleased to be in Scotland at last. The negative aspect being that I had turned west and now faced with the increasing wind! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). kens 2 wheel travel: Irish adventure

http://kens2wheeltravel.blogspot.com/p/irish-adventure.html

Kens 2 wheel travel. Cycling from Lands End to John O'groats. The idea formulated but then the weather turned to the worst summer on record, from my perspective as a cyclist it is not the weather that I like to pedal through. Then a sudden burst of sun and rising temperature caused a flurry of activity to get things organised. So it now becomes another little adventure. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Snow days in Kentucky. It's not usual that we see a lot of snow down here in Kentucky. Winters tend to be pretty mild. There was a point this year where I wondered if my son would get to see any accumulation at all and then all of the sudden snowpocalypse was upon us. Let me give you an example of normal vs. this last week. This is normal. You can even still see the grass. This is not so normal. Over 8" in one night is pretty crazy around here! Posted by Meagan Statton. I have to apologize.again. I haven...
