Feast for your eyes. Food for your soul. On this website, you’ll find all information you need on Blouberg Nature Reserve. Situated in the lowveld of northern Limpopo, it is graced with a beautiful mountain as well as typical bushveld. The varying topography, from mountain down to the plains and the Brak River in the south lends itself to a rich diversity of plant and animal life. Our reserve has five different veld types! Feast for your eyes. Food for your soul. Visitors can choose between four types of accommodation, ranging from simple private camping sites to an all-inclusive lodge. Mashatu Camp are fully equipped self-catering houses. Tamboti is a rustic self-catering bush camp with tents and shared amenities. Modumele simply provides spots to pitch your own tent. December 2014 over 250 volunteers helped transform Blondin Park by planting 10,000 trees to create a new woodland area. Our thanks go to Trees for Cities and all the volunteers who helped make this happen. To put in an electricity supply into the park to facilitate the Brentford Festival and future sporting activities within the park. The park is a haven for a wide range of plants and animals in an otherwise intensely farmed landscape. The old railway line provides a variety of slopes, surface types and aspects which also encourages a diverse array of wildlife.
