Friends of East End Park. Tuesday, November 09, 2010. WINTER UPDATE NOVEMBER 2010. The new MUGA was officially opened by Cllr Blake assisted by Cllr Brett and children from. Richmond Hill Primary School. Also in the pictures are Terry Nunn Chair of the Friends of. East End Park, Betty Kirk Treasurer and staff of the Parks Dept. This years bonfire and firework display was as usual very well attended and enjoyed by all , the weather. Turned for the better and it was quite a pleasant evening.

Friends of East End Park. Saturday, January 22, 2011. There is not much going on at the moment , but the positive news is that we are to have our usual. 3 Brass Band Concerts again this year, thanks to the continuing support of our three local Councillors. Richard Brett, Ralph Pryke and Ron Grahame. The dates to put in your diary are. June 19th Yorkshire Community Brass Band. July 10th Altofts and Normanton Brass Band. August 21st Friendly Brass Band. All start at 1430 and finish around 1630.

Friends of East End Park. Friday, July 23, 2010. We have had two very good band concerts so far this year, our final one is scheduled. For Sunday 22nd August at 1430hrs . Please do try to come along, there will be. Seating provided, or if it is dry just sit on the grass and enjoy the music. The band is The Tenderloin Jazz Band so there should be plenty of foot tapping. Along with other groups we are arranging another "Lark in the park " this year,it. Afternoon of great FREE! To come along and support us.

Friends of East End Park. Monday, August 30, 2010. We have just the one event still to take place and that will be held on the park weather permiting next Saturday 4th September. So get youselves down and bring the children along, you will all have a great time. Friends of Eastern Cemetery - Help Us Restore Eastern Cemetery – Louisville, Kentucky

History of Eastern Cemetery. Residents you may recognize. Residents to learn more about. This wake house was designed by famed architects Charles Clarke and Arthur Loomis of Clarke and Loomis. It held the deceased prior to burial and is an outstanding example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. Here you can see the wake house again and our showcase section to the left. We have focused the majority of our preservation and restoration efforts here. We are very proud of the result.
