Our goal: to keep the lake healthy and open for boating, fishing, skating, skiing, swimming and viewing this breathtaking body of water. We are a friends group for Leyland Park, Hindley. Our aim is to help provide a cleaner, safer park and to bring members of our local community together! Anyone wishing to get involved or contact the friends group can do so at. Wednesday, 24 August 2011. Sunday the 21st August will go down in history as the day the whole of Hindley. Two thirds of those teens will never finish high school and will remain on public assistance for the rest of their lives. We can help transform lives.
