Volunteer Opportunities and Park Events. We are a very active organization with friendly members who will always welcome help in accomplishing organizational goals. It's not just work though - our members have fun working together! We always need volunteers for the following annual fund raising events:. Annual Wine Tasting Gala. Tennessee State Park Running Tour "Race to the Landing". Other opportunities also arise during the year and members are notified of these via email.

Friends of Pickering Park. The Friends of Pickering Park are a voluntary. Community group and registered charity. Pickering Park is situated on the West side of Hull. It is a large park of 25.62 acres. With-in the park there's an aviary, toddler play area, junior/youth play area, with various play equipment including a trim trail and zip wire; outdoor exercise equipment, paddling pool (only open during six weeks' summer holiday) sensory garden, rock garden, football pitches and an 80 peg fishing lake.
