Snop: Kurs med Helen Stubbings
http://myequiltingoglittannet.blogspot.com/2013/09/kurs-med-helen-stubbings.html
Vokser fortere enn ventet :o).

Fredag 29. mars 2013. A happy Easter :o). This must be the most sunny Easter ever (and the weeks before)! Hard to find time for sewing. A couple of days ago we had a wonderful trip to Ålesund, to look at a sailing boat :o). In the car, on the road, I knitted. A beautiful tunic, in one of my new favourite yarn, milk fiber from Viking Garn. Its so soft and easy to knit with. The pattern for the tunic is found in a danish book called 'Babystrik på pinde nr 3'. Hope you all have a great Easter! For 10 timer ...

Søndag 9. desember 2012. Knitting my time away :o). I really enjoy knitting these days. Lots of knitting and not so much sewing. Maybe it has to do with the fact that we have started selling yarn in the store :o). Look at this yummi picture. Anyway, today Emilie was one very happy girl when I finished her Marius-sweater. Today it was time to make the traditional Gingerbread house. Until New Years Eve, it will be safe here :o). Wishing you all a wonderful week :o). Linker til dette innlegget. Http:/ www&#...

Fredag 25. april 2014.

Mandag 20. januar 2014.

Quilt in a day. I needed to make a quilt, and fast - to show off the gorgeous fabrics we have in the shop. The line is called Chambray Rose from Shabby Chic. So I started cutting big 8,5" squares. Decided the placement and started sewing. Added borders, et voilà. Nice, isn't it? Me on the top.). Im gonna have it quilted next week. Have a wonderful Sunday. Its raining here, so I have a date with my sewing machine :o). Linker til dette innlegget. Abonner på: Innlegg (Atom). For én...

Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Right now I'm quilting the Jane Sassaman version of the Fractured Quilt and that should be ready for final view in a few days. I'm quilting it with circles, free hand, free motion quilting, with nothing marked. Some of my circles are a little oddly shaped but the project is fun. Sunday, May 17, 2015. For approximately the past 12 months I have not really been enthused about any of my current works in progress, nor have I mustered up any enthusiasm for starting a new project. Yes, I see many quilts that I admire and would like to do something similar but somehow the energy is not there. I'm still waiting. Saturday, May 11, 2013. I got a new tattoo recently, and its the first one I've had done that holds real significance to me. My second tattoo I got when I was 21. It was purely a vanity tattoo, which might help explain why its now the tattoo I despise most on my body. I keep considering laser removal. My dad is the snake - http:/ tinyurl.com/gzo4z. From Here to Paris
So, one of my husband's favorite snacks is chips and salsa. My husband is also. One of those guys who can polish off a truckload of food and have nothing to show for it. He usually goes for the fresh salsa in the refrigerator section at the grocery store. Guys, have you seen. The price of that salsa in the refrigerator section? Let me tell you, it's usually too much. It's hard to justify paying at least four dollars for a little tub of salsa, especially if my husband can polish it off in a few minutes.

Come with me as I travel around northern California and Europe, capturing the beauty in oil and water color. I divide my time between my home in Sausalito, California and my 1925 Dutch barge, exploring the rivers and canals of France. The beauty of these wonderful places is sometimes just plain overwhelming. I've tried with my brushes to grab those moments in time and those feelings of incredible beauty in oil and water color. The stories are just for fun. Hope you enjoy them and thanks for looking,.

Change, challenge and the next stage of a wonderful life! 8221; Do something to scare yourself– everyday.”. February 3, 2013. Because I do have time now and I have not managed to stay committed to so many things. What makes me think that if I have even more time I will do them? Will I just have all of these wonderful thoughts and ideas rolling around in my head, not follow through, and then be bored and depressed and mad at myself for not working? Is that why I stopped the blog? 1 Blog: 3 times per week.

From Here to Simplicity
From Here to Simplicity. By Lila Moore and Ann August. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Are you true to your nature? Why is it that we spend any time living against our nature? This question was posed during one of our "My Dinner With Andre" conversations. They tend to go on and on and we always wish later that we'd taped them. What quickly came up is this: We all spend a great deal of time and energy building our lives around something that takes us further and further from who we really are.
