From London with Gratitude. Sharing the good in each day. July 23, 2012 by Captains of FUN. Sometimes, when I’m walking down a street and recognise no one, the world seems so big and isolating. But other times, you have moments where you can’t believe how small it is, especially when you have people in your life that love to travel. Are such impressive and goodhearted people. I feel so grateful that, even though far apart, I have these people in my life. The family at Thornbury Castle. Eyes on the street.

From London with Gratitude. Sharing the good in each day. Laquo; To honesty. Cheers to the best study buddy! Thanks to patient boyfriends making delicious eggs. July 31, 2012 by Captains of FUN. Alec can be one of the most patient people I know. Patient with me, primarily! Like when I get worked up about things or when I am dithering between decisions… I don’t tend to tell him that often. But, where I can give direct gratitude is for his patience with making omelettes! No cheese required :). Create a fre...

From London with Gratitude. Sharing the good in each day. Laquo; Dissertation and Drinking. Thanks to patient boyfriends making delicious eggs. July 30, 2012 by Captains of FUN. For about a month now I’ve been attending the Women and Gender Variant night at the London Bicycle Kitchen. For my bike needs. Considering how much I cycle, I felt that I wanted the freedom and confidence to feel independent with my two wheels. I am so thankful for spaces like this, where you can discuss, debate and grow. Oh Canada | It's the little things
https://everydaythatthesunrises.wordpress.com/2012/07/23/oh-canada
It's the little things. It’s no secret that I love my country. All ready to go for Canada Day 2012. Sure it has its thorns, but you can find those anywhere. And I’m convinced that there’s something about living in a foreign country that makes you see your home through rose-coloured glasses. To be written for Canada Day, but I guess you can’t trust an Englishman to remember Canada’s national holiday (they can barely remember their own…). But now, without further ado, I (we) present:. A Poem for Canada.

From London with Gratitude. Sharing the good in each day. A new year ahead. June 7, 2013 by Captains of FUN. In just a few hours I will be turning 25. As much as I am not yet worried about aging, I am increasingly realizing the importance of being intentional. So on this eve of my quarter century, I am excited to remind myself of the things I love – good food, writing, and, most importantly, the inspirational people I get to be surrounded by. From London With Love
From London With Love. Saturday, April 2, 2011. Last weekend was my trip to Ireland! This was the trip I was most looking forward to and it did not disappoint. It was by far the best excursion I've taken so far! Friday morning, Devon and I flew into Cork, Ireland. Our first introduction to the Irish was our taxi driver, Mr. Bill O'Reilly. The man was nuts! After an afternoon tea (well, hot chocolate. I still dont like tea), we spent awhile shopping at the Blarney Mills! The day of traveling and walking a...

From London with love
From London with love. Tower of London poppy installation. November 8, 2014. Intrigued to say the least – I set off this morning to visit the Tower of London where the installation ‘Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red’ is currently on display. Created by artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper; over eight hundred thousand ceramic poppies have been planted to represent the British and colonial soldiers who lost their lives in the First World War. Today, I truly feel proud to live in such a remarkable city.

The Best Part of Love is Giving It Away. The Year Without A Blog. March 1, 2014. It hasn’t quite been a year, but it has been more than six months. For me, that’s pretty close. Time sort of jumbles together every now and then, and I find myself already making Holiday plans in the middle of everyone else’s St. Patrick’s Day planning {. Seriously, everything on Pinterest right now is green with rainbows. }. We’re having a baby! When a mommy and daddy really love each other…. Which is not the way to give }.
