From Our Front Porch Looking In. Tuesday, September 6, 2011. What a great day! L was so cooperative today! I found this awesome class management system on Fairy Dust Teaching. Working like a charm! Then we did her most favorite subject: math! Life of Fred of course! Afterward we practiced phonics blends, which is not her favorite thing, but she seems to be happier doing phonics now that we're using SSR&W. Oh, and there's the teacher, wait, how did she get in here? Andwhat we've ALL been waiting for: ART!

From Our Front Porch Looking In. Tuesday, January 21, 2014. An Awesome Day of Firsts! Lillie had a WONDERFUL day yesterday! Me, not so much! As I was writing my blog post yesterday, I was feeling sick. An hour later I was aching and feeling feverish :( So I decided not to take her to CC and Instead, my sweet husband took her on his day off! And she did awesome! She even raised her hand and stated the endings for the First Conjugation Present Tense for Latin. Proud daddy/mommy moment! So there you have it!

To my thousands of followers (or the three of you left),. Maybe I'll go back to that original way of journaling.the one that involves paper and pen ;). Lockheed Martin had its Christmas party for the supervisors. It was fun with games, prizes and delicious food. I made an Oreo cheesecake-cake to bring along and it was absolutely delicious. We won't talk about the battle that me and said cake had. All I'll say is this; it was viciously bloody but make no mistake, I came out the victor. December 18, 2014.
