Grandpa Jim made all of the arrangements. I am so excited. The kids had a great time. When they saw it through the living room window they had their boots and coats back on in seconds and were out the back door. I have never seen them put coats and boots on that fast. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Just a few ramblings:. Danica took my Christmas quilt to the Davis County Fair and got a blue ribbon. They spread it out to show most of the quilt. Pretty special quilt. I took my pumpkin picture to the art department and my old house to the senior citizens area at Box Elder Counties fair and got blue ribbons on both pictures. Wow! Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Del lived in it and then Merrilyn and Neil Nelson when they were newly weds. This my painting of Ian Ramsays original painting. Our teacher had each one of us paint a copy of it. Loved it. My Christmas Present from the Family. Everyone embroidered a block. Denise did a beautiful job machine quilting it. What a wonderful gift. I am working on a light house picture that Candace took a picture of when we visited Maine in October. I have not framed these yet. I want to get the holidays over and have time to take them.
