I had a nice quiet day at home yesterday so decided with a book and DVD to send my self to "sock school" I used the book "Sock Knitting Master Class " by Ann Budd as my guide. The DVD was vital in me getting the drift of things. By the end of the day I had made my first pair of socks. I have wanted to knit socks for ages and ages ;-DDD. Monday, September 30, 2013. NEW STUFF ;-D. I've been busy "makin' ". I have several new things to show you. I am still enjoying my studies in soft glass. Glass is glass and it melts and stuff and I LOVE it all! Bones - for some reason, we had to do bones. I don't know.ask my muse? New cancle holder with big gianormous bead. FUNKY! Saturday, November 30, 2013. Those of you that know me, know that I HATE winter with a cold passion. BUT, this year, I've made my winter nest and started knitting again. I have knit since I was five years old, but haven't picked up the sticks since 1995. WOW, that was a long break! I've been having a blast making little slouched berets and a few garments.
