Saturday, June 25, 2016. Solo travel adventure success! Anyhoo, recap of the last week:. Since I hadn't (at all) planned my trip in Thailand, I spent the few hours on the plane from Indonesia to map it all out. I figured since I had just spent time on a beach in Bali, I could skip the Southern islands of Thailand this trip. They are supposed to be beautiful but I needed some cultcha! My exhausted self can totally handle this on my own right? Some of the architecture was modeled after British Parliament.

Wednesday, December 8, 2010. There are 15 rocks in this Zen garden, of which you can only view 14 at a time. If you can see the 15th with the others, you are said to have reached enlightenment. I think the highest count I got was 12 or 13. Clearly, I have a long way to go with my enlightenment journey. Toji temple market - loads of people buying everything from kimono to this week's groceries. Selling pine tree branches. This stand smelled amazing! Kyoto Tower in the distance.
