I get a haircut in Japanese. Today I got a haircut near my apartment at a Japanese-speaking salon! It was very fun to successfully get my hair cut speaking Japanese and to feel like I was integrating myself into a regular salon that local people use. We drove 40 hours in the car and finally arrived in Seattle last Monday, May 28. It was long but both kids and animals did very well! Other than the chilly temps and gray skies we really love Seattle so far! It is so green, lush, and beautiful that once we adjust to the climate, I am sure we will be spending a lot of time outside! Saturday, June 25, 2016. Solo travel adventure success! Anyhoo, recap of the last week:. Since I hadn't (at all) planned my trip in Thailand, I spent the few hours on the plane from Indonesia to map it all out.
