Saturday, January 22, 2011. The opera. I know, sounds stuffy, dull, and might I even say boring. However, I had the chance to attend Puccini's. Put on by the Arizona Opera company last night and I LOVED it! Surprisingly I had actually heard one of the songs that was performed. My sister Carol Lee and her family stopped in Denver on their way to a Duffin family reunion in Idaho. It was great to see them (for the first time in four years)! Jake was too hot and too tired to watch the penguin feeding that everyone else was watching. Boy, did it rain! The boys loved it! We brought the boys' cousin Kyle with us. He sure looks like he could be their brother though!

When I woke him up and asked if he knew what day it was he said, "School." I told him how excited I was for him and he said, "Mom, I'm really going to miss my work today." Sunday, August 8, 2010. Summer 2010 at the Duffin's. My one any only trip out of state this summer was up to hot and humid Illinois to visit the Duffins. What fun! While spending the day in Chicago we watched an Omnimax movie while at the Science Museum, got wet at the spitting fountains, used a groupon at Jamba Juice (love the groupons), listened to a free concert at the band shell, saw the mirrored bean in the park, and cooled our feet at the garden walk stream. It was a fabulous day! I love you all!

This year's Spring Break was supposed to be a calm event at home centered around taking the boys skiing. Well, Sunday morning Josh convinced me to drive out to Utah to visit Kathy and her family.
