My sister Carol Lee and her family stopped in Denver on their way to a Duffin family reunion in Idaho. It was great to see them (for the first time in four years)! Jake was too hot and too tired to watch the penguin feeding that everyone else was watching. Boy, did it rain! The boys loved it! We brought the boys' cousin Kyle with us. He sure looks like he could be their brother though!

When I woke him up and asked if he knew what day it was he said, "School." I told him how excited I was for him and he said, "Mom, I'm really going to miss my work today." This year's Spring Break was supposed to be a calm event at home centered around taking the boys skiing. Well, Sunday morning Josh convinced me to drive out to Utah to visit Kathy and her family. He took first place overall without losing a single race! Josh' car is in the far lane. I put this in just because I was impressed that I actually got his car in the shot. Sons are the anchors of a mother's life." - Sophocles. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Joel at the river with the bridge above. No trip to Canon City is complete without a visit to the Royal Gorge Bridge. Josh and Jake REALLY wanted to ride the Skycoaster- the giant swing that flings you over the river. We were able to convince Wyatt that it wasn't that scary and Jake made the height requirement by a hair. All the boys thought the ride was amazing and weren't even nervous! Wyatt and Josh on the Skycoaster.
