There are four classes included in most of the Club’s races:. Optimist – Sprit-rigged pram. Crew: 1. Laser – Cat-rigged dinghy. Crew: 1. Coronado 15 – Sloop-rigged dinghy with jib. Crew: 2. Cal 20 – Sloop-rigged keelboat w/ jib & spinnaker. Crew: 2-3. Competitors shall wear personal flotation; the Y flag will not be used.

Adults with knowledge and experience enough to perform each task on the check-out list may schedule a time to come get checked out on the Club’s. The check-out procedure includes two (2) on-the-water examinations and a paper test. Once checked-out, get the sticker for your membership badge and show off your skills! Already know how to sail?
