Darlin and Her Crew. June 21, 2010. Weather Hold – Santa Barbara. Jeff needed to refresh his beer suppy, so we unpacked the bikes. We found some reasonable quick eat local places over the next few days and ate a burger at the yacht club one night, as well as thier happy hour snacks. Encinal Yacht Club Coastal Sail Race. We did enjoy the weather and scenery. And sampled some of the local quisine. Relaxing with a cold one on the aft deck. And enjoyed a few libations. Here Happy Hour goes on! On July 2, 2010.

Darlin and Her Crew. June 19, 2010. Crossing into the US. We crossed without incident and headed for the the Police Dock to clear customs and immigration. We arrived at 16:00, walked up the dock and called for inspection on the courtesy phone. They advised they would arrive in about thirty minutes. The oil guage never dropped below twenty pounds. Currently, they are “stuck” in Santa Barbara due to bad weather on the California coast. Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Paula is a penguin keeper she does millions of jobs here are a couple of them: putting out rocks for gentoos and hand feeding the penguins! She has to wear 2 pairs of gloves 1 pair is to keep warm the 2nd pair is to protect the fish from any germs. She feeds them salmon smolt, sprats, krill, mussels, squid and herring with vitamins inside COOL! Don’t try to hug one cause it will slap you with its cricket bat flippers!
