The Game Development Challenge (or GDC) is a competition hosted by St. Martin's Institute of Higher Education as an extra-curricular activity. It was designed to give participants the chance to gain experience in the world of Game Development, whereby, participants are grouped together in teams based on their abilities so that within the timeframe of the competition, these teams would create a game based upon some theme.
