garden now - think later!: What it's like here…
https://gardennow-thinklater.blogspot.com/2015/04/what-its-like-here.html
Garden now - think later! Join me as I garden along the flight line - yes, I'm serious! I'm starting from scratch this year at a new duty station with a huge garden plot that is nothing but plowed chunks in the middle of a field full of deer and groundhogs right along the flight line. Come on, it's going to be FUN! Apr 24, 2015. What it's like here…. I am absolutely in love with this area! This is part of "our backyard" - the pier where we fish on base, I was able to get up early and catch sunrise! In th...

Looks like I will have enough to share again this year :).

About a Bug: March 2012
http://aboutabug.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 31, 2012. Further proof the season is off. My early blooming iris is blooming in MARCH with my grape hyacinths, tulips, and late blooming daffodils. CRAZY! Plus all the iris up there already have bloom stalks up. It was nice to catch so many of my flowers blooming. The first 2 I've never been able to live at my house to see bloom. Labels: fixing Hill Top Acres (our house). Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Monday, March 26, 2012. Thursday, March 8, 2012. And for once I don't mean my life! I am tal...
About a Bug: October 2012
http://aboutabug.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 25, 2012. Finally it's not summer on the blog! I went onto Picasa and erased 4 old header photos, plus a few other images. It worked. But I still don't understand why I could load another 25 on the last post, but not 1 measly header photo. Almost a month ago we had the opportunity to go to a music/nature day camp for free. It was amazing. Here is Matthew in hand drumming. Right after lunch Matthew performed with some of the kids that took the morning Kindermusik classes. Phil arrived at...
About a Bug: Loose
http://aboutabug.blogspot.com/2012/10/loose.html
Sunday, October 14, 2012. As in yesterday Matthew found that one of his first baby teeth is loose! Slightly anyway. But enough to cause great excitement in the kingdom. :) Stay tuned for further developments. And hopefully more photos this week. How much does the tooth fairy give nowadays anyway? October 15, 2012 at 1:59 PM. Ive heard that some going rates are as much as $5, $10, but I can guarantee the tooth fairy that visits our house will be poorer then that! October 15, 2012 at 2:22 PM.
About a Bug: June 2012
http://aboutabug.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 30, 2012. 3rd baseman this game. It was horribly windy, poor guy came in with dirt in his eyes. It was homemade red velvet cake. Not a huge hit, just the homemade seven minute frosting, yum yum! One of his favorite gifts was a rope. He wants to be a real cowboy. So he's been roping an old vacuum. "Gotta rope this steer.". Ok, I'll put it over.". Take it down.". Tie them up, done! Game 3.on our 5th birthday. He took time out to smile on 1st base for the photo, and I didn't ask him too!

Life on a 3 acre Homestead raising 1 dogs, 1 cat and severial thousand worms. Monday, September 29, 2014. The worst that could happen! I said that I would be back tonight and this post will be the hardest one I have ever written! 6 weeks ago my ex-wife was told that she had level 5 liver cancer and that there was not anything that could be done to treat it. She was going to die! We knew that she was going to die, but it happened so fast! Her funeral was last Friday! But he is taken it one day at a time!

A Diva Who Traded Her High Heels for a Kitchen Garden. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Admiring Plants In St. Croix, VI. Greetings from St. Croix, VI. I left my garden and decided to spend a week soaking up the sun in St. Croix, VI. My brother is tending to my garden. I pray that everything is living when I return. St. Croix has not disappointed! Aloe - Perfect for my sunburned back, ouch! This plant is huge as you can see. It's about 4 feet tall and growing. Coconut Palm. The coconuts are cut down for guest...

A Diva Who Traded Her High Heels for a Kitchen Garden. Saturday, June 29, 2013. Here's a few of my visitors. The squirrels were the first to visit of course. They will sit and eat until they're about to explode. A peck on the window will send them away if they get too greedy. The blue jays haven't found it yet. In the second picture, they are feeding where I had the feeder originally. A cardinal and his mate have found it as well. Do you feed the birds? What backyard visitors do you get? There's conflict...
A Diva's Garden: Vegetable Garden Fencing
http://adivasgarden.blogspot.com/2012/03/vegetable-garden-fencing.html
A Diva Who Traded Her High Heels for a Kitchen Garden. Wednesday, March 14, 2012. I decided to expand my garden this year. Last year it was 10 x 20, and was somewhat crowed with what I planted. This year I'm going to till a 25 x 25 or 30 x 30 area and fence it in similar to the picture shown. We're putting up 250 feet of privacy fencing, so I thought I would fence the garden as well. I would love to hear what you think about one method over the other. I will definitely incorporate the arbor, stepping sto...

Living Simply - Living Well: October 2013
http://livingsimply-livingwell.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 20, 2013. Shortly after my last post (May 29th) I fell in my bedroom and broke my foot - or ankle, or - it hurt like &*$&%( - the ambulance drivers thought it was just a sprain - I knew something was broken. so, turned out that my stumble caused my tibia to split from the ankle joint up a few inches, and three toe bones to break up by the joint. So may have some pics soon. Kind of hard to do from a wheelchair). Perhaps in a month or so I can post some pics of what I have been up to. Howev...

Tuesday, October 25, 2011. The frost is on the pumpkin. Oct 25th - woke up to a light frost this morning, with more predicted. Everything I care about in the garden is covered up. Rather than flaunt the bowl of raspberries I picked when I came home this afternoon, I will show you what I did with them:. She is also a big fan of dried tomato chips. between her and her Aunt Jess, they have gone through almost 100 pounds of tomatoes so far ( that is about a gallon of dried tomatoes). garden now - think later!
Garden now - think later! Mar 2, 2017. I've been just swamped with life lately. I've been finding it very difficult to get everything done that needs doing! Update on my knee surgery - it went well, all the hardware and metal has been removed and I'm on the road to recovery again. The good part is that this surgery happened in the winter, so I'm not missing out on any nice weather! Why does it seem like everyone has down time except me? L with his team's robotics design. I'm just exhausted to be honest.
