Tuesday, February 01, 2011. The Best Thing About Winter. I was trying to think if there is anything good about this time of year, and I settled on two things: coffee and butternut squash. Until a few months ago, the only coffee I drank was the super sweet and syrup-y type. I have recently discovered that brewing a fresh pot of coffee each morning gives me a great incentive to get out of bed and face the day. My new favorite beans come from Counter Culture Coffee. I'm going to try one of these.
