Ah the perils of storing a lifetime of treasures :-). May 5, 2013 at 11:47 AM. I suffer from this same malady, and it frustrates me to no end. I know all those bits of information are stored somewhere amidst the dust and cobwebs of my mind, but I have lost the keys to the retrieval system! May 5, 2013 at 8:13 PM. Know it well ;).

Linda's Poems: April 2014
http://lindaspoetry.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2014. I'm writing a poem for the thirtieth morning in a row. The first morning I sat in bed all cozy comfy. But that woke Gary up. The second morning. I sat in my recliner with my feet raised while the sun. Smeared the room with butter. I wrote about that. The next day I went out on the porch and have been. Here ever since. I won't bore you with another sun. Description or what the breeze feels like on my bare. Shoulders. Instead, I'll write about.well, I don't know. To cavort like d...

http://lindas365project.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 27, 2011. Okay, I know it's already almost April! I'm not doing a 365 project this year but I am participating in Picture Inspiration. It's a year-long online photography workshop. Once a week we get an email with a prompt. I thought I'd keep track of it on this blog. The first week we had to do a self portrait. I'm not very photogenic. And took about 50 pictures before I got a half decent one. For our fourth assignment, we had to take a picture of something stacked up. From top to bottom:.

Sunday, August 14, 2011. Week 24: Shooting for the Stars. Our Assignment this week was to look for star shapes in nature. I didn't do very well since I was distracted by health issues for my MIL and caretaking my FIL. But, I did see these stars:. Monday, August 8, 2011. Week 23: Organic Lines. I wasn't really sure what this meant. Tracey showed us a picture of where the ocean meets the sand and the line the foamy waves make. I never managed to do this one. We had to take a photo of our tribe.

Monday, May 30, 2011. Week 14: Bird's Eye View. I actually climbed up a tree to get this shot of the ocean of forget-me-nots in my friend Dottie's yard. Sunday, May 22, 2011. Week 13: From the Ground Up. We had to get down on the ground this week and take a picture from that perspective. I found this tulip with its pretty orange and yellow color on a walk with my Nature Journaling kids. I like how the base of the flower is like sunshine. Monday, May 16, 2011. This week we had to find something mysterious.

Linda's Reading Blog: June 2013

Thursday, June 27, 2013. Playing Catch Up, Again. I really wanted to like this book and at first I did but the further I got into it, the less and less I enjoyed it. It's reminiscent of Stephen King's writing but the main character just isn't lovable enough for me. That's as far as I got.maybe someday I'll finish it.maybe not. So, I needed something totally different and this fit the bill. I gulped it! How could I resist a book with this title? Peter Byerly is mourning the death of his young wife by secl...

Sunday, March 31, 2013. The Sunday Scribblings prompt is "SEASONED". This was written this last week on Mad Kane's Limerick-Off. Spring flutters in, fabulous flirt. And flicks the last snow from her skirt. Now freed from storms' prison,. Our garden hopes risen,. We neighbors are sharing the dirt. Love the vibrant twist of the last line. And still adore your writings. March 31, 2016 at 4:59 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Maukie - the virtual cat 6. Links to my Chain. Grow Wings (Laini Taylor).

Granny Smith: June 2012

Saturday, June 23, 2012. Seacoast anchors the dawn-illumined mist,. And in its heart the ltttle birds that trill. Are crackle of the waves, docile and still. At water's edge, not seen and only guessed. Green in the distance on the gilded slope. The hills, sliding through hours of night and day,. Hover suspended in the freshness they. Knew when from shadow they took solid shape. Beside me now you breathe. Upon your breast. As, in deep dark dens, the animals lay. Dries, serene, an amorous vein at rest.
