Picture Inspiration: April 2011

Sunday, April 24, 2011. Week 9: Observation Mode. Tracey encouraged us to be observant of the people in our lives who mean something to us and to snap pictures capturing them in their element. This is my husband checking this and that on his 1979 Ford Ranchero just after we got it out of winter storage. I had to sit in the driver's seat revving it up to keep it from stalling until the engine warmed up. So, being bored, I grabbed my camera and clicked away. Sunday, April 17, 2011. This has been an interesting project, only really made possible (sustainable) by a web-enabled phone. I know I'd have given up long ago if every day's posting entailed carrying a camera everywhere, connecting it to a computer and downloading photos to it on a daily basis before uploading them to the web. 365 Project - Recent uploads. Linda's Poems: April 2014

http://lindaspoetry.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 30, 2014. I'm writing a poem for the thirtieth morning in a row. The first morning I sat in bed all cozy comfy. But that woke Gary up. The second morning. I sat in my recliner with my feet raised while the sun. Smeared the room with butter. I wrote about that. The next day I went out on the porch and have been. Here ever since. I won't bore you with another sun. Description or what the breeze feels like on my bare. Shoulders. Instead, I'll write about.well, I don't know. To cavort like d...

~Linda's Stuff: A Little Plane Ride

http://garlinjake.blogspot.com/2014/08/a-little-plane-ride.html

Saturday, August 2, 2014. A Little Plane Ride. A spot in a hangar opened up near our son's house so we flew the plane over to his place in NH, then he flew back to Maine with us, we went to lunch, then he flew the plane back. I snapped a bunch of pictures along the way. A pretty farm scene. Nay waiting for us on the side of the taxiway. And here is Nay's home across the pond from the airport. It's the second one from the left. Beautiful photos, so lush and green! Nathans house is on a gorgeous spot!

Linda's Poems: May 2014

http://lindaspoetry.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 10, 2014. From my sister, Sally. We're sitting in bed on this last full day. Of our third winter in Florida. Retirement. Is a good novel and we gladly turn the pages. One day at a time. We're watching a documentary. About a group of boat racers trying to set a circumnavigation. Record in a boat using biofuels. They're in Panama. Right now trying to get through the canal but are having. Problems. One guy just sliced his foot and they are behind. We aren't racing, anymore; just floating along.

To my room,. Grab my camera,. And snap a picture. Of all that yes. Rising Early to Begin the Journey. Thursday November 9, 2010. Rising Early to Begin the Journey. Goes off. I lie. Linda's Poems: June 2014

http://lindaspoetry.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Monday, June 2, 2014. Saturday April 12, 2014. I took my notebook. For a walk when I went. To check the mail. I planned to sit. On a bench near the marina. To write a poem. But the sun was an electric. Blanket thrown over me. And I couldn't find my way out. Instead, I sauntered back home. And settled in the shade. Under our stilt house. To read two letters from a friend. The first has an owl, a snail, a blue bird,. A pink flower, a tiny butterfly, a star,. And cloud stickers added for my. Creating beauty...

Linda's Poems: December 2013

http://lindaspoetry.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 29, 2013. I think I've chosen. My word for the new year. It's been slipping softly. For the last few weeks. Tinting each day with smiles. I thought it would blast. Into my life and slap me. In the face with its importance. While shouting how integral. It would be to how I live. But, no, it was just a tiny. Tincture dropped into my daily. Living where it spread. Into every crevice until. It became a map. To the answer of why. I've been so glum. At the beach I found. And wrote my word.

Linda's 4 Paws Bakery - Homemade Gourmet Dog Treats, Baked Fresh to Order

Baked Fresh to Order! The idea for 4 Paws Bakery was formed when we read the ingredients in the doggie treats that our best friend Spenser and his playmate Spirit were eating. We didn't know what some of the ingredients were, but we did know that. Wouldn't want to eat them. We decided to make our own treats so that we would know that Spenser and Spirit were eating the best treats possible. Our Clients Say it Best. Linda's 4 Paws Bakery will be at the following events.
