False Memories and Science. April 1, 2016. Http:/ www.livescience.com/23-imagination-memory-fails.html. I found this article interesting because it relates to my post below but from a scientific standpoint. It gives more depth into why how our distinguishing between memory vs. imagination works by taking a closer look at the brain’s behavior through an experiment. March 6, 2016. This week in class while discussing the book we focused a lot on the meaning behind Chapter 12 of. A Visit From The Goon Squad. Chapters 9 and 10 Questions. February 28, 2016. Jules thought process regarding Kitty seems a little on the rude side. He says, “Because I don’t want to hear about Kitty’s new movie; I couldn’t care less and neither could you…” (Egan 170). I think this attitude probably hurts him and the way other characters view him. Quote from page 171 not written down in questi...

It is quite interesting how a simple memory can bring back such good feelings of pleasure and happiness to an individual. Just like you said too, I also think her comments about imaginary friends were very interesting. I remember when I was a kid and wanted one as well. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. What is an Image? | Welcome

What is an Image? In Lynda Barry’s talk she asks the seemingly simple question, what is an image. Similarly, Barry also mentioned how children don’t plan out their games before they begin. They just start playing and a story unfolds naturally to them. This is an example of a spontaneous and pure image. Anything that can be imagined is an image. Chapter 9&10 Discussion Questions. February 28, 2016. Why do you think Egan set up chapter nine differently than the rest of the novel? What is the significance of the two contrasting plots? What do you think of Jules’s personality based off his thought process? How does Jules relate Kitty Jackson to other celebrities? Jules describes Kitty as belonging to the “category of nice stars (Matt Damon) rather than difficult stars (Ralph Fiennes)” (167). According to him “nice stars act li...Jules was definitel...
