Wednesday, June 11, 2008. We recently took an afternoon to visit the Fort Worth Stockyards. We had a wonderful time exploring the streets and the local shops. We had a fabulous steak lunch and enjoyed watching the cattle drive down Exchange Parkway . There are lots of museums and restaurants that we would like to visit on our next trip. Monday, November 21, 2011. End of Year Preschool Program 2011. May 18, 2011. Today Grace's Preschool Program had an end of the year performance. They sang some very cute songs, and were given awards for different things. We have been so very pleased with Grace's preschool program and really loved her teacher Miss Jamie. So sad that she won't be her teacher next year. Grace has loved her and her class and made some very dear friends. Can't wait for next year ;). Grace and Miss Jamie. 2011 Soccer Game # 5.

Sunday, April 24, 2011. In March my parents came up for a visit and of course, there was still a ton of snow so we decided to go sledding! My mom and I hogged the sled and had SO much fun. We didn't have a sled so we used a plastic under-the-bed clothes box. It didn't hold up as well as we would've liked it to.but it sure did give us a lot of laughs. We laughed so hard our stomachs hurt! Our "sled" is beginning to fall apart. It is in at least 3 pieces at this point. Then John had to get in on the action.

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. I still can't believe that my beloved Texas Rangers are playing Game 1 of the World Series tonight! You really don't have to know me very well at all to know that I love baseball, and I especially LOVE the Texas Rangers. I always have. Even those seasons when it was more fun to be a Cowboys or Mavericks fan, the Rangers were still #1 in my book. ALDS Game 3 - Nick, Joey (close friend/retail store mgr), Mike (owner of HRS! ALDS Game 4 (quite a bit higher than the day before).

Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Nick and I celebrated seven years of marriage, May 17th, 2009. You might notice that Nick's nose is a little red here. Poor thing came down with some kind of cold/hacking cough/thought he was dying illness the day before, but he wouldn't let me postpone our date. I drugged him up real well right before the game, and until the drugs wore off in the eighth inning, he was great! That sounds like a pretty great date night to me. Nine times out of 10, simplicity is the way to go!
