The slow and half-hearted condemnation of bigotry in the midst of a meeting marred by the absence of those in our church who foment such bigotry by their absence is both unfortunate and a disgrace. FunRunnin': May 2010

http://funrunnin.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Lappin' (and being lapped), laughin', and livin'. Sunday, May 9, 2010. It's been a good couple of weeks' worth of training. I didn't get a lot of runs in during my last week in Chicago, but the runs I had were quality. And my birthday run - the Big Peach 5K - was a comfortable sub-9 minute pace 5K. FunRunnin': Kinda chilly (and dark) for a bike ride

http://funrunnin.blogspot.com/2008/12/kinda-chilly-and-dark-for-bike-ride.html

Lappin' (and being lapped), laughin', and livin'. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Kinda chilly (and dark) for a bike ride. Glad you had a good ride on that blasted exer-cycle! FYI, the TV remote in the fitness center is dead, but you can still use the buttons on the right side of the TV. Of course, once you set your channel and start exercising, you're stuck with it. :). FunRunnin': April 2010

http://funrunnin.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Lappin' (and being lapped), laughin', and livin'. Sunday, April 25, 2010. It's been awhile. Yesterday I wrote that it had been awhile since I'd written. Today, I'm referring to running double digit miles. Today's run was definitely not what I'd hoped for considering the training I'd put in the past couple of weeks. There had been occasional challenging runs, but nothing prepared me for the difficulty of today's run. What do you do when the training is especially difficult? Saturday, April 24, 2010. Perpe...

Lappin' (and being lapped), laughin', and livin'. Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Kinda chilly (and dark) for a bike ride. Monday, December 1, 2008. Yes, I promise to get more creative with titles. This (Day 1, Day 2, Day 3.) will get old as the days stack up in preparation for the ING full. A couple of days ago, I said I'd share a bit of my proposed training plan. The summary below is lifted with adaptation from a Runner's World book on running a four-hour marathon (there I've said it):. 9 miles @ 10:40-11:10.

Small Steps Daily: April 2012

http://smallstepsdaily.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

At home, at work, and at life . . . Sunday, April 15, 2012. We went to a Raleigh Ringers concert in Atlanta earlier this year. Katie is trying to lift one of the aluminum bells after the concert - it's heavier than we thought at 18 pounds! Here's a quick video of three songs and her recital piece - it's under two minutes. She positively LOVED The Lion Kin. So, Katie's learning how to play the piano, and I'm learning how to make iMovies now. We're taking small steps together! Saturday, April 7, 2012.

Lappin' (and being lapped), laughin', and livin'. Tuesday, July 8, 2008. I have no idea where this will take me. But I have another marathon challenge before me, and I find myself compelled to chronicle it. At least today. Tomorrow may yet be another story. The short answer is that I won't.) So Friday I wallowed in my disappointment. I mean full-on, inconsolable, don't want to hear about your stinkin' PR wallow. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Overdressed - in March? What I'm checkin' out.

FunRunnin': Starting Anew

http://funrunnin.blogspot.com/2010/04/starting-anew.html

Lappin' (and being lapped), laughin', and livin'. Saturday, April 24, 2010. Yeah, it's been awhile. My blogging here isn't even what you could call sporadic. Perhaps I should just wipe the slate clean and start over. I won't do that (for now) but am clear that I'll have to do better if I'm to have a viable blog. And health and finances willing, we'll culminate this leg of the journey in NYC in November! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Overdressed - in March? What I'm checkin' out.
