Monday, 25 May 2009. So, what happened to May? It might be a long blog post or at least one that is photo heavy, so make a cup of tea and let the last month unfold if the fancy takes you! Working backwards from this wonderful, sunny, bank holiday weekend! We have had house guests. For the weekend, including a delightful and very energetic. Our Bank Holiday Sunday outing was to Newby. The gardens were fantastic and everyone enjoyed the train ride! I have done some knitting too! It deserves a better photo!

I have manged to acquire. Two month wait, a copy of. Http:/ www.ravelry.com/patterns/sources/stahmans-shawls- scarves. This book I love! There are 40 patterns for both shawls and scarves in t The shawls are all an interpretation of Faroes. Fitted' with a back panel but knitted top down and the scarfs. I am into a purple patch.

Saturday, 28 February 2009. Skiing and thick socks. Is it only a week since our last day of skiing in Courcheval? We had an awesome week. Obviously it was great to spend time with son and heir. He is having the time of his life and seems to be doing really well on his GAP ski instructors course. Why wouldn't he be? The bobble hats were needed. The sun shone most days, but temperatures stayed low! On the knitting front, my current 'obsession' (me.obsessed with knitting? I long to go back to the snow.
