DIY 4th of July Rockets. Wednesday, July 2, 2014. I have been trying to get Josiah to do crafts all week. I finally got him to paint! He was actually very interested in making the flag so I let him paint with the colors of the flag. He had a blast. For about 5 minutes. So what you'll need for these Rockets are:. Decorated paper (plain paper and finger paint). Red and Blue Construction paper. Once you have the paper cut you can glue your paper on the rolls. Just glue both edges and hold for a second.

Scissors or/and rotary cutter, pins, ruler. I started with an old sash, If you don't have one, the length was about 2 yards and 3 inches thick. Friday, July 4, 2014. Last year I had a lot of recipes for bubbles. Even spent a lot of money on the store brand. Most of them never worked out and of course didn't last very long at all. Now that Josiah is old enough to know how to conserve (well kind of), I figured making a lot of this would go a long way. We are on one week now! 2 cups dish washing detergent. 3/4 cups white corn syrup. I used Dawn because it was available but you can use anything that is clear. (mine turned out blue).
