Picky Eater: Vi-Ann Restaurant in winnipeg
http://marinas-bakery.blogspot.com/2009/04/vi-ann-restaurant-in-winnipeg.html
Food for thought in CANADA and Brooklyn. Saturday, April 18, 2009. Vi-Ann Restaurant in winnipeg. This Vietnamese restaurant in Winnipeg is slamming. They make my favorite vegetarian. In the city and an excellent Vegetable chow mein. They add tons of fresh vegetables. And the sauces are great. There is a word of warning however, DO NOT ORDER OUTSIDE OF THE BOX. This is really serious, if you order anything beside the vegetarian. Or the chow mein. I can not guarantee. April 19, 2009 at 7:11:00 AM PDT.

Like Blogger for Chocolate: Mississippi Mud Cookies
http://likebloggerforchocolate.blogspot.com/2013/04/mississippi-mud-cookies.html
Like Blogger for Chocolate. Thursday, April 18, 2013. I reduced the white sugar from 2 cups in the original recipe to 1 1/2 cups but it still tasted like slightly too much. Next time I will cut it to 1 cup and perhaps use dark brown sugar instead of white. Also one COULD replace the butter with coconut oil. That is something to try next time around as well, though there is absolutely nothing wrong with the butter version! 1 1/2 cups sugar. 3 cups rolled oats. 6 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder.

Friday, January 26, 2007. During my short stint at film school in the mid-90's I was constantly asked the question:"What's your favorite movie? I'd always answer that picking one was impossible, but perhaps I could narrow it down to ten (and even that might be a stretch). Well now that my professional life has taken a decidedly less cinematic turn, the question du jour is now the equally tough: "What's your favorite food? Eat Drink Man Woman. 1995) This small, indie made by James Mangold is more a story ...

Chefs & restaurants. News & buzz. A bit of history. In 16th Century Venice, 18th Century France, in the worlds of Geisha and so many other cultures, women have had to go to extreme measures to be educated. Often this came at the price of their bodies. In France, wealthy women created salons as a personally curated university , as women were not considered worth the bother to educate. Veronica Franco, 17th Century Venetian courtesan.

FoodDrink.Passion.Life. What else is there? Sunday, September 23, 2007. I picked up a copy of. To read while lounging by the pool on a crystal clear day in Palm Springs. Let me think. a glass of wine, a great food rag and someone new playing softly in the background.I keep listening, racking my brain for the name of this singer. Can't figure it out so I ask the bartender. He tells me "Everyone asks, it's Jane Monheit". What rock have I been under? Saturday, September 15, 2007. It's a matter of taste.
