My journey across the atlantic, from north carolina to bremen, germany. About me and this blog. In August, I’m going to be packing up my life in a few suitcases. Possibly a box or two to ship as well (it depends on the luggage allowances on whatever airline I fly over on). My bedroom is full of stuff. Books. Clothes. DVDs. All kinds of random things. But I’m only going to be able to bring a tiny fraction of it with me. What am I going to wish I’d taken with me? What am I going to wish I left behind?

My journey across the atlantic, from north carolina to bremen, germany. About me and this blog. Tickets are bought, plans are made. It’s actually happening: I’m going to Europe. My parents and I are flying into London, staying six days, and then going to Bremen where they’ll leave me at college and go to Paris and then back to North Carolina. It’s hard to believe. There’s so much more to see and experience! Except not Madame Tussauds. I was traumatized by a wax museum in Madrid. Never again. I bought a f...

Me, Undivided: Quotable Quotes
http://jocelynundivided.blogspot.com/2009/12/quotable-quotes.html
Everything that I think is interesting. Technology, music, books, travel. The possibilities are endless. Friday, December 11, 2009. Collecting quotes is a hobby I picked up from. I have to say, it's pretty addictive; I'm always scribbling something down, from a television show or website or book, in my notebook, a pocket-sized black Moleskine. In fact, that's my second quote notebook; I already filled a cool one from Paperblanks. For me, that would be an empty memory card, but the heart of it's the same.

Reviews and News on Young Adult/Teen Fiction. January 11, 2009. Posted by jocelyn under links. I have been awarded an awesome award! Yes, that’s right, bilingual. I think that the other language might be Portuguese. In any case, it is a language that looks a lot like Spanish (which I do speak fairly well) but I cannot understand it. Well, I think I get the gist of it, but it’s not Spanish. Can someone confirm for me that this is Portuguese? With a capital I! The rules are easy:. 2) Pass the award to anot...

At Last- (Has Moved...): Now That that's Done...

At Last- (Has Moved.). By Anngela Schroeder. www.anngela-schroeder.blogspot.com. Sunday, March 15, 2009. Now That that's Done. So I've sent off my manuscript to the agent who requesteed it, and have my fingers crossed. I, of course, did one more 'once over' of the entire book, and was able to significantly trim off excess which didn't impact the story of Emma and Warner at all. I lost about 50 pages, or 12,000 words. It was liberating. :). Crossing toes and fingers for you here, too! After 5 years of lov...
