We will update the blog every time we have a meeting. 27 September 2011 at 04:22. Listening to t...

http://glaitnesspupilcouncil2.blogspot.com/2010/11/right-blether.html
You can make a difference! Thursday, 25 November 2010. Today was voting day at Glaitness School! The meeting room was all set up as a polling station and each class took their votes along and posted them in the ballot boxes. P7 pupils helped some of the younger ones to cast their votes. Tam Baillie came along in person to see how our voting was going and he was able to answer our questions and tell us more about the campaign. The Pupil Council will count the votes and return the results to Tam's team....

Glaitness Pupil Council: October 2010
http://glaitnesspupilcouncil2.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
You can make a difference! Wednesday, 27 October 2010. The pupil council had a visit from Vesna Oslak who has come all the way from Slovenia. The purpose of her visit was to find out about the way the education system works in Glaitness School. She also told us a little bit about the landscape and 60% of Slovenia is trees and the other 40% would be land. Vesna also told us about the food that they eat there. They eat about the same portions of meat as in Scotland. Check the map to see where Slovenia is.

Blethers from the North: Sweyn at Work

Blethers from the North. Random thoughts from Orkney: Scottish islands since 1468, previously a Norwegian earldom. Mainly about theatre, music, and that other performance art - politics. I am pleased that since November 2014 there have been opportunities for me to become more involved in attempts to build the capacity of the Council to more effectively use digital communications channels, and in continuing efforts to improve the resilience of the more time-critical business processes of the Council.

Glaitness Class 3/4: News from the last week
http://glaitnessprimary3and4class.blogspot.com/2010/06/news-from-last-week.html
Sunday, 27 June 2010. News from the last week. This blog entry is about the more 'everyday' things that happened in the last week. There will be special blog entries about the rest of the week's events too. We spent a bit of time exploring what was still in the marine chest, before we had to pack it all away to send back to Scottish Netural Heritage for another class to use next. If you need lessons in how to make a colourful slideshow, just ask P3/4! We were very proud of the people from our class who h...
