AND NOW WE ARE THREE. Saturday, August 10, 2013. We spent her 1st birthday amongst the Lilac's (where we also took the family pictures) then we went home where Jameson joined us after work with cupcakes. Noe was so sweet and dainty about eating (or rather sampling) her cupcake. She only wanted a few licks of frosting off her fingers. We're so grateful to have her in our family. AND NOW WE ARE THREE. Friday, June 18, 2010. 25 in the city! I would that I could go back to June 15! So many fun surprises were in store! First, I got my hair washed and curled (two of my favorite things! At an Aveda salon for $5. Yes, that was 5 dollars. (Jameson found this girl who has her license and everything but currently charges $5 for everything- cutting his hair, etc. because she's earning her place at their fancy salon. Next week her prices go up to $75! Well, it was fun while it lasted).

AND NOW WE ARE THREE. Thursday, April 18, 2013. Sweet Noe Evelyn is now 11 months old. I am absolutely in love with her and my life as her mom! Noe finally loves to eat all kinds of solid foods! Blackberries, blueberries, cuties (mandarins), and hummus are her current faves. She is so adorable when she feeds herself, which she's really into lately! AND NOW WE ARE THREE. Wednesday, August 7, 2013. We're continuing to fall more and more in love with New England. Here are some photos of our lives of late. Several Saturdays back, we headed to Newburyport for the day. It was such a charming little place and we felt at home being near the sea. Noe is such a little explorer. It's so fun to see the world through her eyes! People are always commenting on how focused she is. Aunt "E" sent her this sweet birthday dress and we had a little photoshoot in it!

I administer a simple test to incoming kinders who are ELLs (English Language Learners). I point to pictures and ask questions like: "What is this called? Or "What is this used for? And the child responds (or doesn't, depending on the kid). In one of the questions I point to a doctor and ask, "How does she help people?
