Wednesday, May 21, 2014. That's right people. Only 13 more days til Curtis and I pack up our car and drive for 30 hours til we reach UTAH! We are both starting to feel so dang excited. The trip has been set in stone since December, but when we took those days off that long ago it seemed like the vacation would never come. But now it's less than 2 weeks away. But the best part of the trip for me will be snatching up my nephews for a couple days! So that will be so fun! So, see all y'all Utah peeps soon!

I must admit it's harder and more time consuming than I thought. Yes, I was one of "those" people who kinda wondered why new moms fall off the grid for awhile. Their daughter Aleksa was disappointed that they wouldn't make it to the pumpkin patch this year. Sunday, December 8, 2013. Usually every year we get too excited and carve our pumpkins weeks before Halloween, and then they are completely withered and the designs unrecognizable by Halloween. But this year, because October was so busy, we carved them just a few days before Halloween. We made it our Monday night activity. She was pretty proud of the pumpkin daddy carved. Saturday, June 29, 2013. Emmeline at 2 Months. Having a baby threw my world upside down and I had to figure out how my new life functions. Thursday, October 2, 2014. Way back when I was actually writing on this blog, I left off on our Utah vacation. To end the saga, it was an AMAZING trip and we loved spending that time with family. Nope Not even close. Do I like my job? Some days I come really close to loving it. But no, not yet. Am I very thankful for a job that provides for our family? 100 % Am I so completely grateful for amazing insurance? Am I learning to be a good teacher? Absolutely. Nothing compares to all I'm learning right now.
