Just a sampling of our life in Texas.it is never dull, never the same and full of love and laughter. Tuesday, December 3, 2013. It is December. December 3rd to be exact. Tomorrow will mark the 3 week countdown to Christmas. As I am trying to fill our family calendar with wonderful holiday memories, I am struck with the overwhelming sense of urgency to double and triple check that Ely knows what Christmas is really. So, we will be more intentional each day to bring it all back to Christ. One of THOSE moms.

That's right, we are having twins! We are super excited but it still all seems like a dream. :) I am 13 weeks, due March 30 th. So they may be February. Babies. Merry Christmas to all! How great is it to be able to rejoice in our Saviour's birth! Christmas day was an awesome day with our family. We hung out in our pj's almost the whole day. We read the Christmas story, unwrapped gifts, had a late breakfast, took a little walk, and then later had some good friends over for a big dinner. It was an awesome day! Above is a picture of when the kids came in on Christmas morning (Madelyn is in the background jumping for joy about her new wooden kitchen)! See 2 new posts.

Madelyn, Brooks, and I went to visit some good friends in Wetumpka. This past Saturday and Sunday night (Patrick is on a work trip). We all had a great time hanging out and catching up! Daddy built her a playhouse and Madelyn thought it was the coolest thing (see pic above). Little Buddies: Brooks and Dawson are two months apart in age. They play well together (except when Brooks hit him). I think we are going through a little hitting stage with B man. :(. The girls loved getting to take a bath together.

How does it happen so quickly? To a BIG FOUR. We celebrated a day early because he was given a surprise trip to Disney World from Grandmomma and Granddaddy (and bc his momma and daddy had an early morning flight to go skiing in Park City). Let the Parties Begin. Madelyn turned FOUR this past Sunday and we literally celebrated all weekend! She had a blast! We all crashed on Sunday night! Sorry, there are a ton of pictures :) ).
