Tuesday, April 22, 2008. I know that it has been a bit since I have posted, but I thought that. It might be a good idea to get a reminder out that we have a mandatory meeting this Thursday night. (you should already have the date from the last paper letter that I sent out). The team is finalized and confirmed at 28 students. In a group of that size, there is no doubt that some of the students (if not all of them) do not know everyone. This Thursday. Night we will focus on building the team.

Our children's ministry is giving us the wonderful opportunity to help serve children in our own church and they are depending on us to help lead some of this event. There are two shifts you can choose from 10:30-12:00 and 12:00-1:30. Or both if you would like! We have several jobs that you can choose from as well and we will try our best to accomadate your desired position.

Sunday, December 28, 2008. Well another Christmas has come and gone already! Stan was put on everything opposite this past week and with the weather and everything that was crazy, he was frustrated by the end of the week! I kept telling him as we would talk on the phone while he was gone that we needed to be thankful he has a job right now and to try and think of the positive! That was one I'll never forget! Saturday, November 22, 2008. Arsenic and Old Lace. Tyler joined the Drama Club this year (which really cracked me up when he told me), and this weekend was their first production. Tyler played the part of Teddy in this play and it was HILARIOUS! The cast did such a great job and had us laughing both nights. Monday, May 26, 2008. Here is the MUD Hens Crew! Don't they just look EXCITED! All our kids plus Tyler's girlfriend Kelly. Taylor and Kelly were SO EXCITED to be at the game! Not sure where he came from, but he was with us! LOL Holger the GANGSTA! The Mud Hens lost, but as most people know me I NEVER know the score, just who wins and who doesn't! LOL I'm terrible about stuff like that! Even at my own kids games, I never know what the score is. The kids swam all weekend! Trevor slam dunking the basketball!

Sunday, December 7, 2008. We spent today doing some baking, decorating, and then lastly we put the tree up. The kids pretty much do all the decorating of the tree, Stan and I just sit and watch. Obviously I am not picky about how my tree looks. I figure that I will have many years to do it my way when they are out of the house. Yes they really do love each other! Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Tyler attended his first Homecoming Dance a few weeks ago. Kelly is only in the 8th grade so she could not attend with him. Sunday, September 14, 2008. With Stan being gone more and with all the kids being involved in a sport it's very hectic. It seems like there is never any down time, until today! I spent the afternoon lounging around doing NOTHING! Thank you God for a day of rest! It never fails though something ends up coming up and we don't get to rest very long, but not today! Wednesday, July 30, 2008. The VanArsdalen family and our family packed up and headed for the beach Sunday. IT WAS AWESOME! The waves were GREAT and it was quite a workout hitting them! I could so be a beach bum! The boys would sit on the edge of the water and just let the waves hit them. They had sand EVERY WHERE! Eleana LOVED the water and beach too!
