As you know it. Life and times of me and my family. Thursday, July 21, 2011. Too busy to blog. (among other things). I can't believe how fast July seems to be going. Less than 2 weeks and Anya will be flying home (if you can really call an orphanage home). We have been trying to make the most of the time she is here. As you know it. Life and times of me and my family. Monday, April 23, 2012. Dinner at the John Howard Irish Pub has become routine to us. The food is good and cheap! I can't complain, however the vegetarian selections are slim. Last night I ordered a pasta dish with chicken in it, and I tried to tell her "nyet masa" which means no meat. And she said in english, "excuse me? Apparently being a vegetarian isn't so common around here, nor is altering the menu to have it your way! Sunday, April 22, 2012.

She has 2 bottom teeth which she has had for a while now, and we keep wondering when she might get some more, and just yesterday I noticed her two top teeth are starting to break through. . Talking: Says “mama” and “uh oh”, and Waves hi and bye. Okay, it’s late and I’m tired, so I’m gonna wrap up this first blog in a long time and end with a few pictures of Tony and Bella. We fly home tomorrow! I've been waiting for this day for nearly a year. Today we go to get Anya's medical examination and then go back to the US Embassy for the interview where we will hopefully get her visa so that tomorrow we can get on the plane. As you know it. Life and times of me and my family. Monday, May 9, 2011. Car Washing at our House Today. He even washed out the bed of the truck. He did a good job, washed the whole thing. Washing cars is only fun when your 3! Not long after getting Tony's truck done, Bella comes out with her car. She didn't really care about washing it, so much as just getting it wet. As you know it. Life and times of me and my family. Monday, May 28, 2012. Our day in Court! We were gone for a total of 106 hours door to door. 54 of those hours were spend traveling to Kherson (26 hours there and 28 hours home), with only 52 hours in Kherson, all for a 30 minute court session. We weren't even there long enough to let the 7 hour time change affect us. We returned home and so far are having no problems adjusting. Having breakfast before court. Todd taking his turn holding Leo while we wait.
