I WILL BE AN IRONMAN. My journey to becoming an IRONMAN. Tuesday, September 2, 2008. 132 miles done.and 8 miles left.so close. Thank you again for all of your prayers and support. I put it in a great effort but just fell 8 miles short of the finish on mile 132. It is hard to describe my feelings and how I felt like disappointed a lot of people, especially myself but I am grateful that I was able to walk back to the hotel, get up the next morning.and register for next year! I learned to ride a bike while training for an Ironman. Surely I can handle this. Please visit the (trying to be) "renewed" blog at goironmo.wordpress.com. Maybe my blogger days were left behind when I left the Ironman-solid thighs behind? I don't have my official doctor-interpreted-to-English MRI report, but I do have the results, and it includes words such as: "osteoarthritis," "extensive soft tissue edema," and "consider further MRI.". I guarantee I'll be the only one in a boot and a running shoe!
