It was a hot, hilly one that taught me a few things! The gun went off at 6:30 am. I ran the first half with a friend. That really helped the time go by, and it's always enjoyable to run with a friend. What was really neat, is that she beat her previous half marathon time by over 20 minutes! And a blister protection aid called RunGoo.
