Saturday, October 30, 2010. The fun begins with making costumes for my daughters. The three of us head to the fabric store in early September to choose a pattern (if I need to get one) and fabric (the real fun part). We picked out fabric perfect for both costumes. I love being able to create costumes the girls have imagined. Especially something like Cinderella before the ball. No specific pattern. Just me, my sewing machine, creativity and imagination. That is why I make their costumes year after year.

I need more time in the day or less things to do. C's birthday was great. He had the day off, so we had "date day." We went out for brunch after. Dropping the girls off at school. Saturday, June 25, 2011. A Special Note on a Busy Day. This past week was very busy, but very fun. I had my niece for the week and the three girls and I went to Girl Scout Day Camp. We also had Patriotic Sing rehearsal. With my husband working Monday and Tuesday night (my two busiest days) I wasn't able to even sit down until 10:30pm each night. On Wednesday night I found this note from CK on the kitchen island. It was perfect timing. You mean everything to me. You are more special than gold. I love you,.

Sunday, February 27, 2011. During our February Winter break from school we took off for Lake Tahoe. WOW! We had so much fun, sledding, hanging out, watching movies and just spending time together. The girls even sold Girl Scout Cookies on Walk-About weekend! What a wonderful four days. I just love the Sierra with her white winter coat. We totally expected there to be MAJOR traffic. This was our "traffic" the entire drive through the Sierra. We even made it up in record time. YAHOO! Those are some icicles.

Saturday, November 20, 2010. Enjoying the First Snow in Tahoe. We were lucky enough to get away for family time in Tahoe last weekend. We were really lucky to be there for the first snow of the season. It snowed just the day before we arrived. Enjoying hot chocolate and panatone after playing in the snow for a few hours. This little guy would have his breakfast every day on the front porch. Winter, Summer, Spring or Fall. The Lake is beautiful and peaceful. My beloved.and.my girls. It was a beautiful day.

Tuesday, July 5, 2011. Celebrating Our Country's Birthday. We had a fabulous 4th of July. We started, as always, with the parade and then left town for The City. It was a clear night (no fog! And the fireworks show was fabulous. We were a bit cold, but it was worth it. Today we went to see the Picasso exhibit at the de Young. Wonderful exhibit. I highly recommend it.
