Elite Yoga Challenge 2015. On: April 29, 2015. Today is day 29 of the Elite Yoga Challenge. It’s been a breeze this year. The hardest part has been juggling the kids and traveling for childcare on days that my wonderful fiancé can’t make it home from work in time. Every day this month I’ve thought about why I do yoga. The exercise. The friendship. The feeling of safety/ “home” at the studio. The ease of tension. The gratitude. The openness. The strength. ...All of these things are why (and countless more).

I’ve made the intention to do yoga every day from not until the wedding (under 60 days to go), so it’s just the beginning of my “challenge” and the hard part starts tomorrow. My fiancé and little monsters came for the party this year and that was great. The kids played with a sweet little toddler that the whole town loves (and she wore them out! They fill my cup. I see one of them in the real world and it brightens my day.

So-Called Healthy Cereal Bars. June 26, 2013. This weekend after the gym I needed to go and get some shopping. Wandering round the supermarket, my legs were a little shaky from running and leg-pressing and I decided to get a snack. My first stop was the “Healthy Snacks” section. I’m a bit OCD and a total sugar-free zone, so I read all the labels and there was not one single bar that didn’t contain sugar. Not one! Trying to find a cereal or snack bar that is completely sugar free is virtually impossible.

Stuff that has left. Saturday, June 23, 2012. I have no idea where she came from, but she's gone. More curtains from the blue house. I was kind of sad to get rid of these curtains. I made them. For the blue house. And when we were so kindly evicted. We took them with us. But I'm sure I'll never have windows like that again.so I finally sent them off to the thrift store.
