http://www.grainofriceproject.org/about.html

We really felt drawn to the women of Kibera, especially those living with AIDS. We had taken some of their handcrafted products back to the U.S., and people really liked them. We knew that when we went back to Kenya, we wanted to make a longer, lasting impact, instead of shooting a few quick prayers at someone and hoping they'd have a better life.".

Encounters In Kenya and America: More International Food and Farewells
http://amybackinkenya.blogspot.com/2012/06/more-international-food-and-farewells.html
Encounters In Kenya and America. Monday, June 11, 2012. More International Food and Farewells. Unfortunately, not thinking, I decided to try a huge spoonful of the garam masala on some rice I'd made. Can we say spicy? Makes sense, seeing as one of the ingredients is mace. Of course you foodies out there probably know all about masalas, but I'm a newbie.so let's just say I was instantly running for a glass of water after taking a bite.
